Based on world events, it is necessary to discuss the consequences of education in view of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, so that new paths can be traced in order to alleviate such consequences that directly affect teaching and learning.
This research arose from discussions on educational practices carried out at the Santa Luzia Municipal Elementary School, located in the city of Benevides, State of Pará (Brazil), with the aim of investigating and documenting educational methodologies applied through activities that value the studies on language, art and affectivity as a didactic resource in multiple teaching and learning processes, applied, in particular, to 6th grade classes of elementary school 2. According to the Basic Education Development Index (IDEB), you can see that it should be noted that there are difficulties in learning certain Portuguese language contents in terms of textual reading and interpretation. Therefore, it became necessary to investigate the possibilities of teaching mother tongue through artistic language and affectivity, in order to investigate how these practices influence students' motivation for the discipline, transforming the classroom into a collaborative and creative space, starting the discussion of new concepts, such as student-artist and stage room, from Cabral (2017), Chagas (2004), Freire (1996), Wallon (2003), among others, so that educational practices can be seen as accessibility views, regarding the difficulties related to traditional teaching methods, showing other ways of teaching, learning, interacting, applying activities, teaching content, practicing the school curriculum, thus allowing new access possibilities to subjects worked in the school environment, whether face-to-face or remote, allowing students to participate in the construction of their own knowledge, creating dialogical links between subjects belonging to the school community, be it the management team, teachers, students or parents/guardians, opening paths for the realization of a participative management, joining forces for a single purpose: education.
